  Today's busy families take many shapes and forms.  Some families often have two professional parents employed full time.  At the same time they are trying to meet the needs of their growing children, including the challenges of being hockey, dance, and or soccer parents.  Without making the relationship a priority a couple can lose touch with each other.  One or both people  in the relationship may not recognize that this is occurring, and that resentment is building.  Soon they may find themselves arguing about almost anything, and growing even further apart.  We can help reverse this direction and help couples grow back together.
  
  Whether its a new couple struggling with their extended family,  in-laws, or the birth of their first child, or older couples trying to take care of their children and aging parents, marriage today has numerous new challenges.  Our couples counseling program has been very successful helping people re-identify what's important to them, what's causing them to pull away and become resentful, and begin rebuilding intimacy.
  
  David & Dee Plude are licensed psychologists at Arrowhead Psychological Clinic P.A., a State Licensed Mental Health Clinic located in Duluth, Minnesota.   While other clinicians at APC offer couples, and family counseling Dave and Dee provide the majority of couples services.  Dave has also specialized in the areas of anxiety, and attention deficit disorder.  Dee has directed treatment for chronic pain and specialized in marriage and the family,  Both Dave and Dee have additional specialties in overcoming fear and anxiety, coping with stress, lifting depression, divorce prevention and building positive families.
