APC is proud to be known as one of the most innovative counseling centers in Minnesota. Husband and wife, Walt and Dee Plude helped develop a  “state of the art” couples counseling program by infusing their 40 years of marriage, and psychological training into a comprehensive approach to relationship problems.  Visit our Couples Counseling Center.

Our Attention Deficit Disorder Clinic is founded upon the most recent research within the field. Dr. David Plude, LP, the programs director, has researched and published scientific research on attention deficit hyperactivity disorders.  Dr. Plude provides both counseling and testing for ADHD.  

Our Preschooler, Child and Adolescent counseling services also serve families who would like to reduce resistance,  increase cooperation, increase motivation and maintain control within the family.  Dr. ElizaBeth Carver is one of the regions few providers with specialized training for 3-5 year old children. We have also recently added an adolescent girls group at Ordean Middle School and are conducting research on violence at Denfeld High School.

Other innovative services offered by Arrowhead Psychological Clinic includes Telephone Consultation, Child and Adolescent Counseling Program and recent Research and Statistics regarding counseling and therapy for anxiety, depression  and substance abuse.

Anger management groups are available for men women and adolescents.  We also have general wellness girls group, called Girl Talk, for adolescents between the ages of 13 and 17.  Most group services, including court ordered evaluations/group therapy are covered by insurance.
