Arrowhead Psychological Clinic has contracts with hundreds of different
insurance company's. Some of the major insurers we have contracts

We have contracts with many other insurance
company's and to help find out if your insurance covers our services, we
recommended contacting us with your insurance information to determine
coverage. Our office staff will contact the company to determine
benefits prior to your appointment. Our therapist will also offer
a "sliding fee scale" for individuals without insurance.
State and Federal Laws often mandate mental health benefits so there is
a good chance this will be covered. Arrowhead Psychological is
working with insurance company's on a daily basis and can assist with
determining your eligibility.

Information about services and
initial appointments
During an initial appointment a
counselor/psychologist/ and/or psychiatrist, often work with individuals
and families to determine the nature of their issue. From there, the
goal of this initial meeting is to determine what type of intervention
would help improve the clients current situation both immediately, and in
the long run.
- Common questions often include:
Q: Do I really need therapy?
A: It is fairly common for individuals to schedule an appointment
when they "have tried everything" and "don't know what
to do about it anymore." Here are some questions to ask
yourself:
- Do my problems effect my health?
- Are my relationships with others being affected?
- Am I sleeping more or less?
- Are their Changes in my diet?
- Am I more irritable, or has my mood changed?
- Is it hard for me to focus or concentrate at
work or school?
- I have experienced a recent loss or trauma?
- Am I using more alcohol or drugs than before?
- Am I falling out of love with my spouse or
significant other?

above, it may be helpful to talk to a counselor about these issues.
