Child and Adolescent Counseling
Child and Adolescent Counseling will assist parents in developing positive parenting skills that will help improve communication, increase cooperation, and motivate their children.
When put into practice, these skills will assist your children in developing the necessary skills for successful living: forgiveness of others and themselves, sharing, delayed gratification, self-esteem, patience, persistence, respect for others and themselves, cooperation, compassion, confidence, and the ability to be happy.
Dr. Sarah Siltanen, LGSW, LGSW and Olivia Zoltak, MSN Intern offer a wide array of services to help families with their youngest members. During the school year Alex Heil, LICSW and Olivia Zoltak, MSN Intern offer services on site at Ordean East Middle School, and Dr Siltanen offers services at Duluth East High School. Many families find this helpful as their children and adolescents don’t need to leave the school campus, and miss as much time away from school.
We take great pride in helping families and youth in our community grow and work through the challenges they may be facing.
