Daniel received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and earned his Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Superior in 2017. Daniel’s previous clinical experiences have involved working in a chemical dependency/mental illness inpatient treatment center and leading groups on co-dependency and trauma. He specializes in assisting clients achieve their goals and working on addressing a wide range of mental health areas including trauma, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, bipolar disorder, and chemical abuse/dependency.
He believes in using a direct and skills-based approach to therapy utilizing cognitive-behavioral, person centered, and dialectical behavior treatment theories. He tailors his approach based on client’s needs and believes in working together as a team to overcome obstacles clients face.
Outside of therapy, Daniel is a movie buff and enjoys traveling the world to experience different cultures.
