Dawn Martinson

Dawn joined Arrowhead Psychological Clinic with over 30 years of mental health experience in a variety of clinical settings. She graduated with her master’s degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth and is a Licensed Psychologist. Dawn helps clients shape their thinking and behavior through the development and use of practical skills. 

Dawn works with adult clients including those who are experiencing stress, career transitions, anxiety, depression, panic, and relationship issues. She works in partnership with clients in achieving their goals by employing techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Oriented Therapy, Reality Therapy, and Christian Counseling.   

Dawn has also enjoyed teaching college psychology courses and consulting with organizations around team building, MBTI Personality Inventory, conflict resolution and systems development. Additionally, she has worked in residential crisis stabilization, treatment programs, leadership development, and personal and community development with college age students. Outside of work, Dawn enjoys spending time with family and friends, canning, sewing, and walking.  

Dawn sees clients at the clinic and virtually. Her schedule includes evening hours for virtual appointments.
