Jonathan Olson, originally from Neenah, WI, earned his Bachelors Degree in Human
Development and Family Studies from the University of Wisconsin–Stout and his
Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from The College of St. Scholastica. His past
professional experience includes working with children and teens navigating a wide
range of emotional and behavioral challenges. Jonathan has gained this
experience interning in residential settings (Residential Services Inc.) and one-on-one
working as a behavioral therapist at the Minnesota Autism Center (MAC).  His past
experience and love of learning brings a strong foundation to his role as a youth and
adolescent psychotherapist.

He is passionate about working with children, adolescents, and young adults
experiencing challenges related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, Autism Spectrum
Disorder (ASD), separation anxiety, oppositional behaviors, and more. He cares about
supporting clients through difficult transitions such as changes in family structure or
school and creating a safe, nonjudgmental space for emotional expression and growth.
He is committed to a strengths-based approach and believes the therapeutic
relationship is central to meaningful progress.

Jonathan also has experience working with different therapeutic approaches including
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Relational
Cultural Therapy (RCT), and Play Therapy. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, running,
skiing, spending time with his wife and friends, and playing any sport that involves a net.
